Myra Bowling, MPH

My name is Myra Bowling. I have a background in public health starting with my Bachelor of Science in French and International Health and continuing to my Master of Public Health degree with a focus on health policy. Throughout my educational journey, especially during my grad program, I became increasingly interested in what impacts quality of care. Many of my courses taught me that the way in which healthcare providers are paid has a direct impact on quality of care. There are so many models a provider can be paid by, however not all lead to good outcomes for the patient. This was an area of health policy that I knew I was going to become a leader in and make a difference.
